Patients attending Lawson Road Surgery are still required to wear a face covering

Safety remains our highest priority at Lawson Road Surgery. We can all play a role in reducing the spread of COVID-19. There is no change in NHS guidance for healthcare settings from Monday 19 July. Patients attending Lawson Road Surgery are still required to wear a face covering (unless exempt), follow social distancing and hand hygiene guidance and staff will continue to wear PPE. This is for your safety and the safety of other patients/ individuals and staff.

We appreciate it can be frustrating but it’s important to understand we do see some very sick and vulnerable patients, some of whom are not able to have the COVID-19 vaccination due to their conditions. By continuing to take reasonable and sensible measures against the virus we are helping to protect the most vulnerable in our communities and providing our patients with greater reassurance. Thanks you for your continued support and consideration. This is the guidance from the Government so please be kind to our staff when contacting us.
